About Payments

We use a third-party vendor, Stripe, to process all online payments. Stripe is widely recognized as an industry leader in payment security and is trusted by major companies like Amazon, Google, and Shopify. Your financial information is never stored on our system.

To enable fast and reliable ACH transfers, we also use a secure integration with Plaid, a platform also trusted by leading financial institutions. When paying by bank account, you’ll have two options:

  • Enter your bank routing and account numbers manually, or

  • Use Plaid to verify your account instantly. With this option, you’ll be prompted to select your bank and securely log in using your online banking credentials. You don’t have to do anything to select this, it is the default. This method helps ensure faster, more reliable payment processing.

You can click here to learn more about Plaid’s security practices.

A $3 convenience fee is applied to online payments to help offset—though not fully cover—the fees we incur for offering these services.

Important Notice About Who May Pay

Payments must be submitted by attorneys or law firms on behalf of their clients.
If a divorcing party attempts to make payment directly, the payment will be returned and a nonrefundable $50 processing fee will apply.

Can I Split a Payment?

At this time, our online payment system does not support split payments. All payments must be made in full by the submitting attorney or law office.

Please allow up to 5 business days for payment processing.
